Double Major and Double Degree Information |
Double Major: LAS students in a Science and Letters Curriculum can add a second Science and Letters major to their plan of study. Successful completion of the second major will be noted on the transcript. See the LAS Double Major site.
Double Degree: Any student completing the requirements for more than one degree if one or more is not an LAS Science and Letters curriculum. You will need to complete at least 30 extra hours for a double degree.
If you are a Physics Major wishing to add a second major or degree:
1) Talk to an adviser in the department of the major you wish to add to discuss your plans.
2) Make sure you have met the prerequistes, especially if the major is in another college than your primary major (see Intercollege Transfer requirements).
3) Once you have permission, add the major by going to the college office of the major you wish to add.

2) Meet with the Chief Adviser for the appropriate Physics curriculum.

3) If permission is given to add physics, go to the appropriate college office to add physics as a second major or degree
