Information for students currently enrolled in UIUC
Stipend
A total of $3000 will be paid three times over the 10-week program. Students will be paid at the beginning, middle and end of the program.
Housing
You are responsible for securing and maintaining housing for the summer.
Eligibility
You must be a UIUC student and during the spring semester enroll in PHYS 496 IPR, Intro to Physics Research.
In the fall semester enroll in PHYS 499 ST, Senior Thesis. You will have the opportunity to give a talk during the senior thesis the following January.
Furthermore you are responsible for:
- Attending lunch talks, workshops and participate in student talks.
- Writing a final paper that will be included in a Proceeding.
- Assisting with hosting WYSE/EYO high school summer campers.
